Android tablet app for Car Servicing

carZapp is an Android-based tablet application developed for deployment at the Dealers Service centre locations in order to improve the vehicle servicing process.

carZapp is an Android-based tablet application developed in joint collaboration by Onya Digital Solutions and Aikya Business Solution. The main focus and the objective of it is to deploy it at the Dealers Service centre locations in order to improve the vehicle servicing process and thus leading to a satisfied Customer.

Application features range from Security check in and checkout entries, Service job cards creation and updations, Service bay job completion status updates, MIS reporting to Customer status tracking, CSR’s and online payments. Additionally, the service advisors can take the pictures of the vehicle to record for any scratches or dents that exist.

Introduction of digital media will lead to major cut down on the service initiation time in comparison to the current manual process, improvements on record keeping & archiving, reduces usage of paper, reduces the waiting time of the customers significantly.

This application would be hosted on a private cloud server. The data that is captured using the tablet is stored on the company’s private cloud thus storing all the details of the vehicle history. The huge plus here is that the data can be accessed from any of the service centre’s across India.
